12+ years building, supporting, and expanding brands across print, digital, environmental, and marketing.

7+ years of in-house art director experience supporting all aspects of each brand while owning projects from concept to execution.

5+ years leading and managing creative teams.

Strategic, hard-working, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

  • I have steered historic brand systems as well as global brand systems, working to help each brand feel relevant while maintaining credibility and authenticity. As a creative director I monitor team projects to make sure they support the brands. I believe consistency is one of the best ways to strengthen brands and support their overarching narrative and mission.

  • I have experience managing and leading teams of designers and creatives from performance reviews and one-on-ones, to developing the team and members as needed. I enjoy helping team members grow and ensuring team culture is healthy. I believe that clear communication is important to build trust and create a high-performing team, and I won’t shy away from having hard conversations when necessary. Feedback—negative and positive—is so important to growth, so I make sure to share both with those I lead. I make sure to listen to those who lead me and those I lead, too, because I’m always looking for ways to grow.

  • I believe creative projects should always reflect the overall brand, even when pushing into new territories. This feels like the ultimate creative problem to solve, and I love guiding teams toward these solutions and even doing the work myself when appropriate. I won’t hesitate to roll up my sleeves and execute projects myself.

  • In any role, I am always looking for strategic ways to create more success for the company, which often requires strategic thought of what is being communicated. Communicating an organization’s narrative clearly should never take a backseat, even in the smallest of projects.

  • I have a predisposition for making anything more organized—from making content more clear to designing and implementing project management systems that have significantly increased team output.

  • I enjoy fostering intentional collaboration on teams because it creates results and solutions that would otherwise never have existed without the merging of different thoughts and styles. I understand the fragility of creativity and how no two people function the same, so I make sure to create boundaries for collaboration that allows the quiet voices to be heard without disregarding others.

Featured Role

It’s the little things that count:

Positive
- I take pride in being able to see the positive in most situations, and I believe that’s so important when leading teams. I love celebrating team wins, big or small—sometimes with confetti, other times with homemade cinnamon rolls…

Flexible - I love the challenge of being flexible because it requires problem-solving, in an addictive-sudoku way.

Eye for Detail - I have often been referred to as “Eagle-Eye” because I so often catch misspellings and minuscule details that may seem small, but if not caught would detract from the overall success if not taken care of. It feels like working for Ghostbusters…but for mistakes…

Efficient - I thrive on working "smarter, not harder,” so I look for ways to make processes and communication smoother.

Hard-Working - I’ve been known to be a hard worker since I was mowing lawns and painting houses as a kid. While I love to be efficient, I also enjoy rolling up my sleeves and digging in to projects, too! Utilizing efficiency where appropriate can conserve creative energy for projects that can really flourish with a little extra hard work.
